Reflection
I met this standard this standard by learning and taking notes on effective communication. We dressed in scrubs to demonstrate a professional healthcare appearance. We learned about medical abbreviations to use in order to present professional language. We learned how to work in a team and resolve conflicts to apply teamwork skills. This standard applies real word application because in the healthcare field we need to know how to appear professional. We will be put in situations in which conflict will be involved that needs to be resolved. It is important to know how to communicate with a patient in the most effective way. Respect for diversity, time management, and honesty are all important character traits to have in any aspect of life. My future learning goals are to improve my interpersonal skills. I want to work on giving feedback by reflecting and asking questions. I want to continue to appear professional by learning medial abbreviations. I want to increase my respect for diversity by learning about other cultures and ethnicities.
